Ambassador In Chains Ministries is supported entirely by love offerings from host churches and those willing to partner with us to share the Gospel. In some cases, churches and camps are already struggling financially and cannot even cover our expenses. Here are some ways you can help and be a part of this exciting ministry: Prayer- We ask that you pray the Lord Jesus would grant us favor in the eyes of those we need to work with and that hearts would be receptive to the Gospel message. Finances- As the Lord leads; you can help support our ministry financially. We have tried to make donations as easy as possible with the button provided below. It is our pledge that God will be glorified with your gift. |
So how does he do it? Escape artist Anthony Martin, gets bundled-up in a strait jacket, enters a steel vault equipped with a combination lock, relocking device and five deadbolts, and announces that he’ll need to get himself out before the air in the vault is used up.
Anthony’s assistant Chris Rogers, stands by, drill in hand. If worse comes to worse, the only way to get Anthony out is to drill the vault.
Anthony performed the feat at his home church, Mapledale
Baptist, before a rapt audience recently, and there was suspense aplenty.
The vault contained about two minutes worth of air, Anthony
estimated.
Mapledale’s Pastor, the Reverend Tony Peffer, manned a
stopwatch, counting off 15-second intervals from the time the door slammed shut.
When he got to 2 minutes 45, and 3 minutes, people got a little fidgety.
There was silence – no noise from inside the vault –
and then - the door opened and Anthony stepped out to applause.
This stunt was done for a special reason.
Anthony is launching a ministry called “Ambassador In
Chains.”
“This is more than an escape,” Anthony says.
“I call it a modern day parable.”
Saying that all need a plan to free themselves from sin’s
bondage, Anthony offers the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST as the only means of escape.
He’s offering the ministry free of charge to interested
groups.
But the vault won’t be included.
At 350 pounds, it’s much too heavy to transport from place to place.
Instead, Anthony frees himself from a strait jacket, using its binding
straps to illustrate his spoken message.
