PORTER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

This document is to establish and verify that at the old Porter County Jail, Anthony was thoroughly searched by Sheriff David Lain. He was then secured in a chain configuration of 12 handcuffs that included a 20 lb. ball and chain. I then personally locked him in a cell of the jail and secured the entire cell block. In 8 minutes and 13 seconds Anthony appeared free of the handcuffs and the cell block. A total of three locked jail doors were opened during the escape.

In addition to this feat, Anthony successfully demonstrated an escape from the antique strap iron cell in our current Sheriff's Department lobby.

I was present during both of these escapes and can attest no collusion was involved and all the locking devices were real and unaltered.
