Anthony was searched by Deputy John Spears at the old, currently unoccupied Vernon County Jail Facility. The cells and locks remain the same as they were when the jail was in use until 2006. He was laced in an unaltered regulation Posey strait jacket utilizing both the side loops and the loop across the chest. We then locked him in Cell No. 3 of the facility. The only opening in the doors is a four inch slot by which to pass food to jailed inmates. In exactly 3 minutes and 10 seconds, Anthony presented himself both free of strait jacket and cell. In signing this document, we verify the escape was legitimate and without the aid of accomplices.
